 Our caterpillars came in the month of may. I was so excited when we started to see the life cycle of a caterpiller. It started out like a tiny egg then he molted the first time and ate then he molted agai and agian and agian and till he was huge. When the caterpillar molts it gets bigger and bigger. my caterpiller has been thruow the chrysalis stage. I new it was going to turn into a chrysalis soon because it was in a J shape. It takes about 1 hour to turn into a chysalis. When  I went into the room I took a peek at my caterpillar and the next thing I new it wasn't a caterpillar it was chrysalis. I was very surpised i thought it was going to take a long time. Mrs.Furman took the caterpillar away from me so it could go to the butterfly cage so over night or day it doesn't have to be stuck in the tinny cup. i am very proud of mrs.Furmam my caterpillar  because they help me so much. It's name is Ellen Jr. I know that a chrysalis is for a caterpillar a cacoon is for a moth. When I saw the caterpillers I was so HAPPY!!!!!!!! I think that everyone has a extraordinary caterpillar!
